I just wanted to say that after looking over the site for the past few days I really like what I see. There are some great discussions here. Thanks to WSmith for pointing this place out.

You are quite welcome. I would also like to welcome Casey777. I don't think she has found our Traveller board yet.

Hey Lylanthwol! Welcome to the Alehouse amigo. You'll find your Ale at your usual place by the fire. You know, next to your favorite poker! Lylanthwol's Poker of Doom: The tip of this old iron poker glows bright orange with the fires of Mt. Doom itself. In spite of this it can be handled quite safely, although it is always warm to the touch. The owner of this potent item is protected as a ring of warmth as long as the poker is in hand. The poker may also be wielded, one-handed, with all the benefits of a staff of striking. It does damage as though maximum charges were expended although it has no actual charges and thus is never exhausted. The glowing orange tip of the poker will burst into flame upon command, causing an additional 1-6 damage with each successful hit and can be used to ignite combustible material as a flame tongue sword. The poker does double damage to any water or cold-based creatures. It also sheds a hellish red-orange radiance in a 66.6' radius that reveals all within its illumination as a True Seeing spell.

Hi, Jerry. Nice boards ya got here. Sac Lamb here. I've only posted a handful of times on Dragonsfoot, Grognard's Tavern, and Gene Weigel's old site. I was curious, so I came here. Keep up the good work.

Didn't notice this thread before. I tend to jump into the thick of things. But I'm here too. Been here for a few days. Nice board, fun and interesting people.
