Which we can then quote by chapter and verse.
The Book of Weigel, chapter seven, verse twelve, "thou shalt not play bards in any of mine campaigns as they are homos and dost not kicketh sufficient asseth."
PS - pithy, huh? O'Reilly fan, Squid Head?

O'Reilly fan, Squid Head? O'Reilly is okay. I probably just read too much. When I wax loquacious it is due to excessive forays into the literary arts. And 1st Edition PHB appendix bards do kick much asseth. They end up with more hit points than any other class - and get all the druid abilities too! These guys are elite ninja shock troops.

Is anyone besides me bothered that the "Old School Philosophy 101" quote (which I wholly agree with) uses "DM" twice at the beginning, but "GM" at the end? Shouldn't it be consistent one way or the other? Or is this an outward manifestation of our "old-school" belief that not everything needs to be completely consistent all the time (cf. Godentag's thread on "ecologizing" rules)?
