I dont have the mods in front of me and its been awhile, but IIRC it mostly was increasing the # appearing. Although IIRC there were a few encounters that i just bumped the HD a bit. The group was 5 1st/2nd lvl characters so the adjustments werent huge. They didnt have to be.

I've ran dd1 and dd2 in my AD&D campaign with some slight mods for group play. I liked them a lot and so did my players. If i ever get back to running our campaign again i have already downloaded the greyhawk mods for incorporation.
I put your link below when i first started this forum. I actually started visiting your site long ago and it has continued to be a favorite stop over. It was also how i stumbled onto Dragonsfoot. At times I wish I had stopped with your site. Heh.

... And I saw at least one polearm that Gary did not include with AD&D. ;D HA! I remember thinking something similar when i first went there. But North is correct, It is definately worth the visit. I would even suggest anyone that has a weekend to kill to make the trip just for the Art Intitute. But I might also suggest fitting in the Museum of Natural History, another top notch place. Heck all the Chicago museums offer a whole lot and they are not that well known. I wont go to my Brothers up in Chicago without planning in a few extra days to hit the sites up there from the museums, china town, Navy Pier, and all the great archetecture which includes some Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Sorry for the rambling... but i fell in love with the city. If i could ever sell my house for a decent price we would be moving north. Jerry

I have put up a new forum, yeah glutton for punishment! It is to feed my other habit, Sci-Fi. So if you also like talking about Sci-Fi books, authors, movies, tv shows, rpgs, etc. you might give it a look see. Like the Alehouse in the beginning it is still dead quite, but that can change. Reign it in.
The TLG folks and Fans have agreed to not make personal snarks and snipes here. Especially in the GENERAL BOARD.
It is completely unfair to take shots at them here when they have agreed to not do it themselves.
There is still a standing invitation at the TLG Forums for comments by all.
WE ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER SKIRMISH WITH TLG AND THIER FANS. PERIOD.

Then figure in all those that love AD&D and it is still thier game of choice, but to play must play other game systems, so they spend most of the time talking/asking questions about the games they actually are able to play.
I think compiling such a list of hard core AD&D only types would be difficult at best and a very short list when its all said and done.
Take me for example. I love AD&D, but OD&D is my true deep down game of choice. But I also range from like to love at least a half dozen other RPGs and at times will even toss over OD&D for a good game of one of my favorite board war games. In other words, I think one would find that few people are "game-centric". They have varying preferences but remain open to liking and playing a broad spectrum of games.

In July I will be travelling north to Wisconson to the Lake Geneva Gaming Convention.
There have been discussions here about inviting some of the Original Guard to come here to the forums and participate. I will make up some new business cards and when I see them, I will offer an invite with the web adress on the cards. I can't guarantee we will get any hits since most of these guys are busy with thier own sites/projects/lives. But I figure a personal invite may help.
One thing that will be a thorn, is that we do not support LA or C&C. Even on Gary's personal list the only discussion he makes about OD&D is what his game is doing. AD&D discussion is almost non-existant. So what I am saying is dont get high expectations.
What was Gary's favorite hooch again?
