A few questions about spells and magic that have the effect of lightning.
First, do any of these spells have anything to do with real lighting? For instance, lighting bouncing back, lightning blasting through things, these qualities have nothing to do with real lighting correct?
The only one that seems to work the same as real lightning is the druid spell. But, what effects does this spell have on say hitting a tower. WOuld it do real dammage to the tower, or pass through it to the ground (as real lightining does). Just some stupid questions that I have always wondered about. There is a difference between real lightning one encounters in the game, and magical lightning (druidic and MU).

I'd give all of the spells/effects the characteristics specifically attributed to them in the rules and none other, and not worry how well these do or do not match the characteristics of "real lightning" (and if a player complained I'd point out that obviously this isn't real lightning, it's magical lightning, and as such behaves differently).
