... or in Special Projects or what. Too many forums! Brain overheating.
Anyway. I'm hoping I can catch up with most of the people who contributed to the Hoard of Delusion here.
I'm working on putting some bits of the HoD (i.e. those which I personally have a reasonable claim to have written) back together again. I've started with the Spider Farm, since it's pretty much complete as it stands and I wrote it personally. Dragonsfoot have agreed to host it for me.
I'm aware that some of you have a ... history ... with DF. I really don't want to get into that here. I'm just trying to make halfway decent 1e AD&D modules and get them distributed as effectively as possible, and DF is the host that will reach the widest audience.
I'm particularly looking for Wheggi (who I understand is temporarily unavailable) because I would like his permission to use his Shadow Goblin picture in the .pdf. Under DF rules, I can't use it unless I can produce evidence that he consents.
I also want to put Bones in the credits for his helpful advice. Is it okay to do that, Bones? And if so, would you prefer to be credited as "Bones McCoy" or by your real name?

I sent a PM to Wheggi, so hopefully he'll head over here when he has the time.

I'm sure wheggi wouldn't mind your using his picture as long as he was credited, but of course you already knew that and me saying so doesn't change the DF policy. However, something that might -- I know that Sieg (who's the 1E Section Editor at DF, i.e. the person who will be making decisions regarding your submission) was intending to contact wheggi by telephone (regarding another matter), and if he hasn't done so yet it might be worth dropping him a note to see if he wouldn't mind asking wheggi about this when he's talking to him.

Okay, the Spider Farm's finished and ready for uploading to Dragonsfoot but I haven't managed to get a hold of Wheggi or Bones.
This means that I have reluctantly decided that I cannot include Wheggi's picture or either of them in the credits for the moment.
On the offchance that there's anyone who would like to receive a copy of the .pdf directly - either as a preview or because of any issues with the DF site - please do feel free to shoot an email to me at: stuart.marshall@holmesandmoore.co.uk
The document is just short of 450k in length, and prints out in 8 pages (on either European A4 paper or American 8.5"x11".) At the risk of being accused of boasting a bit, I venture to suggest that it looks rather good.

You're very welcome to host it from there, Jerry. I'm grateful to you for the publicity. I can email it to you "as is" - i.e. with the Dragonsfoot copyright notice on it - if you wish. If you have your own copyright notice which you would prefer to use, please either direct me to where I can find it, or email the wording to the above address. Thanks.

Thanks, Jerry.
It will take a short while to get a revised draft with the new copyright notice from my proofing/pdf-formatting guy (I didn't use DF's people for that, they sometimes come up with some strange-looking documents.)
Assuming he doesn't encounter any problems, when I get it back, I'll mail it to you.
